A brand creation project that was given by the Instagram page @briefclub, Devil's Draft is a new and edgy beer company aiming to disrupt the craft beer market with its bold and devilishly delicious brews. Embracing a theme of darkness and allure, Devil's Draft seeks to appeal to adventurous beer enthusiasts drawn to unique flavours and distinctive branding.

For my approach to this brief, I wanted to experiment with symbols associated with the occult, alchemy, or dark folklore to add depth and interest to the brand identity. Ultimately, I drew inspiration from tarot cards, aligning perfectly with the essence of Devil's Draught. Each of the three flavours was hand-drawn and based on a different tarot. The hand-drawn elements complement the gothic typography of the logo and are incredibly versatile across all applications, and with many tarot cards to pick from the possibilities for exciting future flavours are endless.
